Wine Tastings with Elaine Z - Traveling Vineyard TM

I offer in-home wine tastings with artisanal wine and offer guidance and support for those who want to join our team. It was the best decision.

For the past 24 years, I have been an educator working with students of all ages. This year, I realized I needed a more flexible schedule so I could be there for my daughter. In August 2016, I joined Traveling Vineyard after one of my former students told me about her business. This company is extremely supportive (I mean the owner's title is Head Cheerleader and Chief Grapestomper). It has been fun as I get to use my teaching skills to explain about food pairings, the 4 steps to wine tasting, and creating WOW moments. I've had to reach outside of my comfort zone which has helped me to expand my world. Bonus, it is financially rewarding. I am eager to learn more about wine, meet new people, and share with everyone the opportunity of a free in-home wine tasting or the business.

So much wine…

Well, my time with Traveling Vineyard ended in 2023, but I have a new adventure starting in 2024 with Wine Shop at Home! After a mourning period, I realized that I loved being your "wine lady" and bringing joy and delicious wines to you all.

I have a lot to learn and am excited for this new journey with all of you. December has an amazing join special ($100 in credits) and January has a long list of hosting specials. I am excited for my first two tastings with Martelle and Meg! Let me know if you would like to have fun together in January!

I cannot figure out how to change the title of this page, so I will soon start a new page. 🤦‍♀️

Huge thanks to my two hosts from this weekend! Emily’s Friendsgiving event and Ashley’s Fall wine tasting were filled with good cheer, wonderful people, fantastic wine and amazing food. We had so much fun. Some of my favorite moments was when one person who said she doesn’t like wine realized that she did but hadn’t really had it in so long. And a couple who said that they only drank red but ordered a white because “they didn’t realize it could be good with the right food.” Thank you to all my hosts and guests for giving me such fulfillment in this “job.”

After starting a new full-time job, having three wine tastings in one week was just what I needed! Thank you to my hosts, Heidi, Larissa and Amanda for bringing us together! We had so much fun, learned new things, laughed a lot, ate great food and drank delicious wine.

Two more this weekend…I can’t wait!

Well this is the meaning of “traveling” in Traveling Vineyard… 😎
A few weeks ago I was contacted to do a virtual corporate wine tasting as a bridal shower. At first, I was thinking I wouldn’t be able to since I would be cruising on the other side of the world…but that is what internet and time zone calculators are for…
6am for me but 4pm the previous day for them…
