Precision Management is currently seeking someone to join our team! Main duties would include coordinating soil sampling workorders and scheduling, GIS mapping and processing as-applied GPS data, data entry of crop records, and generating year-end reports for our clients. The ideal candidate would possess very strong computer skills, with the ability to learn new software programs efficiently, as well as having excellent organizational skills including multi-tasking, planning, and prioritizing. Basic knowledge of crop production is desirable, but not required.

Arndorfer Brothers Seed plot night is tonight from 5-7pm, located at our plot 3.5 miles north of Bancroft on Highway 169.
We will have a deep root pit demonstration to view root depth, hybrid displays comparing root and ear sizes, as well as Climate FieldView demo's.
Company reps will be around to answer questions as we start to prepare for harvest.
We will be grilling from 5:30-7. Hope to see you tonight!

We finished up a Reichhardt Row Guidance install on a new Drago GT corn head this morning. Still plenty of time before harvest to add this to your current set up. Reichhardt can be plumbed into most displays- JD2630, JD4640, Pro600, Pro700, Ag Leader Technology InCommand, Integra and Vera displays.

China will agree to purchase a not yet agreed upon, but very substantial, amount of agricultural, energy, industrial, and other product from the United States to reduce the trade imbalance between our two countries. Looking for something to make harvest go a little smoother this year? Consider Reichhardt's Row Guidance kit that will guide you in both corn and soybeans. The kit includes a TAC sensor/feeler in corn. It is also plug and play with John Deere, Case IH, Ag Leader, and most other newer displays and GPS receivers, so you don't have that added cost and clutter in the cab! Call us @ 515.885.0330 if you have any questions on how this could integrate into your operation!
Northern and Western Rootworm Beetle populations have reached thresholds in several conventional and double stacked fields, both corn on corn and soybean rotation acres. We highly recommend taking a look at any fields you may have planted without Rootworm traits, especially later planted farms. When scouting make sure to peel back the silks. Earlier planted crops are either done pollinating or close to at this point so there is not a lot of damage to be done, but still good to gauge the pressure. If you are planning to go corn on corn next season an insecticide application is worth considering if you are at thresholds. We also highly recommend adding in an insecticide if you are planning a fungicide app. Threshold levels for the beetles is 1 per plant.
