It's been another great year for Christmas trees! But unfortunately, that means we need to close early so we don't oversell our fields. We need to keep them healthy for the years to come. Thank you for coming out this year and we hope to see you next year! Effective Friday, December 9 at 5:00 pm, we are closed for the 2022 season.
Santa will be here from 10am to 1pm, Sunday December 4!
The balers are all set up and waiting, and the sleds and carts are stacked and ready to carry trees up. Don't forget - we always open all day (9-5) on the day after Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see everyone!
Opening day is November 25, and Phoebe and Riley are ready!

In order to preserve our fields we need to close early for the season. We will still be open today but will close for the season at 5pm. We are closed starting Sunday 12/12/21. There are still some beautiful precuts and some taller trees at the edge of the farm. This picture was taken this morning in the white pine field.

We came home to beautifully snow-dusted trees today. I know not everyone appreciates the snow, but our family dog, Cody, sure does!
What a great growing season we've had! There's so many of these huge trees in our field, just waiting to become your Christmas tree in a few short weeks.... Only 62 days until Christmas!
One more week to Opening Day! Hours will be 9-5 on that Thursday and Friday, and then back to regular hours.

Our daughter Erin finally got her wedding pictures. Apparently a Christmas tree farm is a great place for a wedding photo shoot. Congratulations Erin and Sam! (And yes, that's a bee on her nose! )

Thursday is opening day...here comes the Christmas season! We will be around all day Thursday and Friday (9-5) - back to regular hours after that.
1800 pine cones, 300 bows, and about 2000 berries wired so far. The season is coming! You can pre-order your Christmas wreath any time.....

Official opening is Thanksgiving Day. Only 3 more days to get ready! The gift shop shelves are packed with great bargains, the wreaths are getting decorated, and the pre-cuts will be ready by Friday. Come on out! Remember..the perfect tree is a real tree!
Remember seeing those bird houses out in our fields while picking out your tree? This is what we're trying to attract...blue birds. They help us take care of the aphids that can harm our trees. I saw them checking out this house this morning. They're so pretty! (Hopefully they'll stay!)

I finally got to take a picture of one of my giant wreaths before someone bought it. At 4 feet wide they must get put up on BIG houses!
We definitely broke the "early bird" record for trees and wreaths before Thanksgiving.... 20 trees and 8 wreaths this weekend, and we weren't even open yet!
2014 has been a busy year. Lots of planting, trimming, and mowing. We'll have a field out back full of 5-7' beautiful Frasier Fir trees. They really are a beautiful variety. If you have any color ideas for wreaths you might be interested in, post it here. I'm always looking for new ideas.
Wow it was a great Christmas season! Thank you to all who were here :). We just took our tree down yesterday and the living room feels a little sad and empty without it. We had one of the pre-cuts that were left and it was beautiful and fresh-looking right to the end. Only 2 months til pruning starts....
