Added some blooming beauties by the garage today, and I absolutely love how they brighten up the space. 🌸💕

I picked them up at the Bosserd Family Farm, and after the thunderstorm the weather feels absolutely perfect outside. Best part? Nature watered them for me! 🌧️🌿

It’s hard to believe how fast these little ones are growing! 🐥🦃

Just a few weeks ago they were tiny fluff balls, and now they’re already outgrowing their brooder. They need more room to stretch their wings, run around, and start acting like real birds—but we’re already working on giving them a bigger space!

The funniest part? The moment we open the brooder door, they’re all jumping on us, curious about everything and ready to see what’s going on. ❤️

Yesterday Adam built them a roost, and it’s already becoming their favorite place to climb and perch. Watching them learn something new every day has been so much fun!

Our little homestead keeps growing, one project and one feather at a time. 🌾🐥

🌙 Goodnight from the guinea crew!

These little guineas are growing fast and looking more colorful every week. They may be adorable, but they definitely aren’t as friendly as the turkeys! Catching them for pictures is a challenge all by itself. The moment they see me, they’re off and running.

We’re still working on building trust one day at a time. Hopefully before long they’ll decide I’m not so scary after all. ❤️

🦃🌾 Little Farmer on Duty 🌾🦃

One thing we’ve noticed is that every turkey has a different personality. Some run right up to us looking for attention, while others still make us work for it and take off the moment we get close. 😂

Our little farmer spends time with them every day, and it’s been amazing to watch the flock get more comfortable around us. The curious ones are becoming downright friendly, and even the shy ones are slowly coming around.

Building trust takes time, but these daily moments with the birds are quickly becoming one of our favorite parts of this farm-ish adventure. ❤️

Trying something new with the flock today — blended eggshells! 🥚🐔🦃

Most of the chickens weren’t quite sure what to think at first, but the turkeys? They were the first ones to come investigate. 😂

They seem a little hesitant for now, but we’ll check back later and see how much is left. Maybe the turkeys will convince everyone else it’s a good snack!

🐥🚜 Farm supply run with my little farming partners!

Today’s mission: bedding pellets for the brooder boxes. 🦃🐥

This is our go-to place for so many things—our birds, farm supplies, and even tools and equipment for our lawn care business. 🌱🚜

The chicks and turkeys are growing fast, so it was time to stock up and get fresh bedding ready. Thankfully, I had the best helpers along for the trip. ❤️

Erik and Freya love checking on the birds every day and helping with all the farm chores. What started as a few chicks has quickly turned into a family adventure, and these two are involved every step of the way.

Turkey & chicken update 🐥🦃

These babies are growing so fast! It’s amazing to see their personalities starting to shine.

Some of them now jump right onto me and happily accept pets, while others still think being picked up is the worst thing ever and make me chase them around the brooder. 😆

The turkeys continue to be curious and friendly, and the chicks are getting bigger every day. Watching them grow from tiny fluff balls into little birds with their own personalities has been one of our favorite parts of this journey.

The minis officially moved into the big brooder today! 🐥

We’re hoping the transition goes smoothly. The big birds were definitely curious at first, and we caught a little bit of chasing as everyone figured out the new pecking order. Nothing unexpected, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on them over the next few days.

It’s amazing how quickly these little ones are growing. One more step in our farm-ish adventure, and hopefully before long they’ll all be acting like one big flock. ❤️🐥🌾

Adam spent years hunting turkey, but he’s always talked about how cool it would be to have some as pets too. 🦃

Now that dream is finally a reality.

These little turkeys have quickly become his buddies. Every day he checks on them, talks to them, hand-feeds them, and somehow ends up with one perched on his arm. ❤️🦃

Watching these little ones grow has been one of our favorite parts of this farm-ish journey so far.
