The new mobile shade is working out great. After doing several shade barns we decided to mix it up. The cattle are happy and we love being able to move the shades to the next paddock.

Farm's been busy, aspirations in the morning, preg checks in the afternoon and those lucky pregnant ladies got treated to fresh fescue and Orchard grass!

Big improvements are being made at the Henry T pasture with the addition of a new hay feeding area! We've experimented with different types, but this one is the clear winner due to its simplicity in cleaning and adding hay.

Pond embankment: “I’m gonna wash out and take the fence with it .”

Us: “No you’re not.”

Two loads of rip rap and a few skid steer hours later—problem solved.

Man, it’s been one of those weeks where you’re not even sure what day it is—just that you’re tired and smell like cattle feed 😂

We started off making wheat hay, then rolled right into getting our spring heifers lined up for AI. In between all that, Sawyer’s been working his new show heifer he named Sweet Cakes—she’s already acting like she runs the place.

And since we were clearly bored, we went ahead and used this good weather to wean the fall calves too.

Then to top it all off, we finished the week getting manure spread… because apparently rest isn’t on the schedule either.

Busy, a little chaotic, but a solid week all the way around.

The crew is putting in a full day today 💪, grinding away and building out a new feeding and catch area 🏗️🐄. This is the kind of work that doesn’t always get the spotlight, but it’s what makes everything else possible.

We’re always pushing to get better, and this is another step toward bringing even more of our very best genetics to our customers 🔥. Proud of the crew for showing up, working hard, and doing it the right way every time.
