Well… WE SURVIVED THE The Hancock County Fair.

Our very first BIG event is officially in the books, and whew — y’all definitely kept Shiyou’s Caddy Shack BUSY!

A HUGE shoutout to everyone behind the Hancock County Fair. The amount of work it takes to pull off an event like this does not go unnoticed. From the planning and setup to keeping everything running all weekend, y’all put on one heck of an event, and we are so thankful we got to be a small part of it!

We cooked, we hustled, we sweated, we laughed, and at some point probably forgot what day it was. But we had an absolute BLAST.

And to everyone who stopped by the Caddy Shack — THANK YOU. Whether you grabbed food, came back for seconds, told a friend about us, or just stopped to say hey, we appreciate every single one of you.

Now we need y’all’s help! Since this was our first big event, we REALLY want to hear from you. What was your favorite thing you ate? What should absolutely stay on the menu? What would you love to see us add next time? And if there’s something we can do better, tell us that too! Drop it in the comments or send us a message — we’re listening!

Hancock County Fair by day, Mississippi State football by… also day.

Just because we’re slinging food at Shiyou’s Caddy Shack doesn’t mean I’m missing kickoff! The TV will be on, the food will be hot, and YES—I’ll have my cowbell ready.

Come grab something good to eat, watch the Dawgs with us, and if you hear excessive cowbell… mind your business!

Well… our “soft opening” was anything BUT soft!

Y’all SHOWED UP for Shiyou’s Caddy Shack today, and we cannot thank you enough! Between the crowd, the learning curve, and what felt like the hottest day of the year, we definitely got thrown straight into the fire — literally and figuratively!

We know some of you had longer wait times than we would have liked, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we worked out the kinks. We learned A LOT today, and every service is going to make us better, faster, and more prepared.

Most importantly, we hope the food was worth the wait! Hearing that y’all enjoyed it made every sweaty, crazy minute worth it.

Thank you to every single person who stopped by, ordered, waited patiently, gave us encouragement, shared a kind word, or supported us in any way. This little food trailer has been a labor of love, and today reminded us exactly why we started it.

Day ONE is officially in the books!
We survived. We learned. We sweated. A LOT.
And we can’t wait to serve y’all again!
