Lyla Kate, what a year! Tied for All-Around Cowgirl! You put in the work and it showed.

Goat Tying ended up Reserve, you put in the work and it’s taking her to Nationals in Oklahoma in June!

Ribbon Roping State Champions with her talented partner Easton Zeldenthius! 4 years of being the runner and ended it with a bang, can’t wait to watch this team in Nationals.

Breakaway, had a great state finals winning the first round and roping great in the Short Go. Putting her 7th in the State.

Barrels didn’t go as she wanted, started out on fire, and fizzled toward the last few rodeos. She’s going to keep at it, we know Nanny has it in her, we just have to figure out what’s up and get ready for next season!

Team Roping was new this year, and this girl turned majority her steers, it was so fun to watch her progress and know she has so much team roping ahead her. Thanks to all her partners

Let’s start with Nolan… he made it Nationals, in our home State of NE!

To say that State Finals gave us a few ulcers is an understatement, he came into the weekend knowing it was going to be a battle but ready. Then when his horse went down during warm up of the first round and he jumped on his sister’s breakaway horse, we were heartbroken for him and so worried about Pedro. The backbone to rodeo is the horse, and this is his main man, we thank God he recovered and is doing well.

Second round was safe and clean, with a good solid run.

Short Go, he put one together to win the Go! Placing him as 4th place tie down roper for Colorado. And securing a spot to Lincoln in July.

Team Roping, these boys had an amazing State Finals, putting it all out there and turning some steers! They had fun and it showed, proud of you boys!

What a weekend! Last regular season rodeo and Cowboy Prom. Nolan had a nice solid weekend, placing in tie down both days. Lyla rocked in goats, caught her team roping steers both days, good breakaway, and her and Nanny are finding their groove.

They all spoiled me for Mother’s Day, and I wouldn’t change spending my day watching these two do what they love. Even with the holding my breath through every run. Onto State Finals!

Branding Day 2026 was a huge success. Thanks to our calves bounced right back the next day, no hanging heads, just the normal soreness.

We can’t live without him. From lack of man power to steep canyons and hillsides. Our working dog, Echo is everything to our operation. He has his moments, but he earned his dinner for sure!
