Drought doesn’t make raising cattle any easier. When forage quality and trace mineral availability are impacted, we have to pay even closer attention to our cattle’s nutrition and health.
That’s especially important during weaning, when calves are already going through a big transition.
We use Multimin® 90 (zinc, copper, manganese, and selenium injection) as part of our cattle health program to provide four essential trace minerals.
Preconditioning is about setting these calves up for success — good nutrition, vaccinations, proper management, and supporting their health and development as they grow.
Our calves don’t leave the ranch at weaning. We’ll continue raising and developing them right here at Rocking R for our spring bull and heifer sale.
