Had some cookies baking in the house tonight 🍪🍪🍪

Here are my tips for thick and gooey cookies (after some fails and successes)

1: DO NOT USE MELTED OR SOFT BUTTER! MAKE SURE ITS BETWEEN ROOM TEMP AND COLD. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP CAUSE IF ITS EVEN A BIT TOO SOFT YOUR COOKIES WILL SPREAD!

2. DO NOT OVER MIX. OVER MIXING THE COOKIES GETS THE BUTTER TOO SOFT AND WARM, WHICH WILL ALSO CAUSE THEM TO GO FLAT AND SPREAD. JUST MIX ENOUGH TO COMBINE INGREDIENTS!

3. ONCE YOUVE DROPPED YOUR COOKIES ON A SHEET, PUT THE SHEET IN THE FREEZER. I USUALLY DO ABOUT AN HOUR, NOTHING LESS THAN THAT! IF YOU PUT THE COOKIES IN AFTER YOU DROP THEM THEY WILL SPREAD! PUTTING THE COOKIES IN COLD KEEPS THEM NICE AND HIGH, SO HOW HIGH YOUR COOKIES BAKE ALSO DEPENDS ON HOW HIGH YOU DROP THEM ON THE SHEET.
