This weekend the chill left the land and we dined al fresco on the lanai. I was treated to a product the matriarch referred to as "doggie ice cream" which was delightful.

Earlier this week the patriarchy took me shopping and to the spa.

I continue to make in roads with the shadows.

​"A Magnolia must bloom even in the frost, though I find the starch on my velvet ears to be quite excessive." ❄️🐾
​It has been three weeks since I took up residence at the Fletcher estate, and the Commonwealth has seen fit to welcome me with a Great Blanching. I am currently conducting a census of the local scents, though the earth is holding its breath (and my future bone-caching sites) under a shroud of white.
​A lady must maintain her dignity, even when her nose is buried in a drift and she looks like a powdered wig gone to seed. The hearth is calling, but duty—and the ghost of a frozen rabbit—demands my attention.
