From drone launch to safely back into mommas arms. 6 minutes.

The ending is very tough.
Audio at the end

This is exactly why we do it.

This is why we get up at 2 or 3 AM and prep to go out and find lost beloved pets.

We are in the air, one way or another. Looking for lost pets or doing search and rescue work.

By drone or by helicopter.

Normally we can be off the ground in 45 seconds to around 5 minutes Depending on the helicopter used and what the weather is like.

It takes a lot of time and work to take off into the clouds. And even more so when you do it solo. SPIFR

Single pilot instrument flight rules.

With a patient on board too !

Part 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are in rhe comment section.

Battery on, start up and all the way through the FAA clearance..

Then the airport approach and left break to the hospital with the helo pad landing.

ENJOY !

Must see video of True Love

A gorgeous Malinois, named Rosie went missing about 9pm last night. Her entire family looked for her until 8 am this morning when they finally had to get some sleep.

We were called out in the morning but we were on another flight and could not arrive until around 430pm.

We arrived, set up and had Rosie spotted in 45 mins. The eye in the sky placed a virtual tag on her. Owners scanned that QR code tag and it literally drew a map for them to walk right to her.

Oddly enough she was in a large field laying down with about 4 deer. As you can see on camera, she looked like one of them. So the deer were not startled by her presence.

As a reminder. Even after just 20 hours of being lost, she was scared of her owners. It’s takes some time for the dog to process your scent and your voices. To make it all make sense to them.

Be patient !!! Too many people rush it and the dog bolts off. Sometimes never recovered again or you spend days tracking it.

Once within 75-100 yards.
Sit down…. Don’t stand. Sit down and call to your dog softly. Softest voice possible. Little dog whistle, little calling. Stop. Wait. Be patient. Call again.

Your drone pilot will guide you. We can see every reaction the dog has. What’s working and what’s not.

We know you are super excited.
Be calm. Listen. Follow our lead.
It may take 10 mins. Maybe 30.
If done right, they will run into your arms, sooner or later.

Slow is the name of the game.

Here’s how it all unfolded for Rosie. What a lucky family and a lucky dog to have them love her that much.

Enjoy !

Drone flight around the hood.

What does a 200 X zoom camera look like ???

How close can a drone land, from where it took off from ?

Most drones might land a foot away Sometimes 4 feet away.

How about 1 cm ?

RTK is GPS but on steroids !!!

Here we use RTH, Return To Home and see how close the drone can get from where it took off from.

The sun and cell phone focus don’t see eye to eye for a bit.

EagleEye Thermal Drones saving lives everyday. Not just lost pets.

In this case, saving an elderly business owner lots of money when he lost his set of office keys, safety deposit box key and office filing cabinet keys somewhere at his 6 acre ranch while he was taking his two poodles out to potty.

Some areas of the grass is a foot tall or close to it. It’s also been raining for a few days which makes it harder on a K9’s nose as well as the morning rain washing away this mans scent with each falling rain drop.

At 3:18 the head snaps.

For K9 handlers that’s a huge sign that the dog has picked up a scent. In this case, a scent was picked up from about 10 feet away. Something was lingering in the air and catching the attention of the dogs scent glands.

What was it ???

EagleEye Thermal Drones not only can help you find your lost pet.

We can also help you find lost personal items that were dropped in your yard, while on a hike or at the river, etc.

In this case, a specialty drill bit was dropped somewhere on a 1 acre country side property.

K9 Onyx found it. No problem.
