Attention 5th Grade Parents......
We are in the begnning stages of putting together the 5th Grade slideshow that we show at closing ceremony and I need your help to make it great. I am requesting two things from you,
1-2 current school year pictures and 1-2 Flashback photos. Pictures are due to me by June 1st.

Flashback Photos-
We added a flashback section in the last couple of years and it was a huge hit. I'd like to do this again, but I need your help! You can assist by posting 1 individual photo and 1 group photo. Please not more than that....we want everyone represented and I don't want to delete one of your favorites. The picture must be school related (grades k-4), not pictures from outside events (I will have to delete those). If your child was at another school, you can still add them.

2026 Homestead Wakefield Senior Send Off!
Come back to HWES one more time to celebrate your graduation! Wear your cap, gown, and graduation regalia—maybe add your future plans underneath—and join us for a Senior Send-Off.

Friday, May 22 at 2:30 PMPlease arrive by 2:30 PM to check in at the blue-top basketball court on the side of the building. You’ll receive a name tag and take a class photo at that time.

Parking will be available on the grass down the hill toward the middle school—staff will be there to direct you.
At 2:45 you will parade through the halls and be cheered on by students and staff (maybe see some familiar faces!). After the parade, we’ll gather in the gym to reconnect with former classmates and enjoy a snack. Following the 3:30 dismissal, some of your former teachers will join us.

You’re welcome to leave before the gym gathering, but you won’t want to miss a fun throwback surprise!

We’ll be taking lots of photos. Please note that, per school request, this event is for graduating seniors only—no additional visitors or spectators will be permitted in the building.

Teacher Appreciation Week Sweet Treats 🧁

This morning, the Hospitality Committee of the PTA delivered a variety of baked goods from Wegmans as a token of our appreciation!

Teachers, we hope you felt loved and spoiled this week! We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for the work you do all year long!

Teacher Appreciation Week Popcorn Bar!

The Hospitality Committee of the PTA had so much fun putting together a special treat for our wonderful teachers today! We hope you know how much we appreciate you! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication all year long!

A huge shout-out also goes to Thomas Wienholt of Horizon Cinemas Fallston for donating two humongous bags of fresh popcorn for this event. We are so grateful for the support of your local business. Thank you!

Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

It was an absolute privilege for the Hospitality Committee of the PTA to host this year's Teacher Appreciation Week Luncheon earlier today.

This year, Basta Pasta - Fallston catered and wow, did they knock this one out of the park! Not only did they make the entire process a breeze from start to finish, they also exceeded our expectations with a delicious meal. The menu included salad, breadsticks, baked ziti, chicken alfredo, marinara penne and for dessert, we served mini strawberry cheesecakes and mini tiramisu. Thank you, Basta Pasta!

After our luncheon, we announced our seven raffle winners. Congratulations to all the winners! Please stop by the front office to collect your prizes.

Today was all about celebrating our dedicated, amazing teachers! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed putting it together! We are so grateful for the incredible work you do each and every day.
