The girls are keeping him company while he works on this rainy Sunday morning. Owning a business or two means that days off are few and far in between. We are hoping the rain ends before it’s time to load pigs.

57 large square bales unloaded and stacked. Turned out to be a great day for a load of hay.
The hay on the right is still left over from my last delivery. I try my best to schedule a delivery with about 3-4 weeks of hay left. This gives plenty of time to reschedule if the weather doesn’t want to cooperate. It also gives me plenty of hay to mix in with the new hay so the transition is nice and easy on the horses.

This summer came and went in a blink of an eye! Horse shows, farm days, a beach day, shoulder surgery, piglets, friends, family, fun and so much more. Looking forward to slowing down a bit.

We had a great time showing at the last NYSQHA show of the season. The weather was amazing! Everyone had some wins and lots of improvements have been made since the start of the season. All the hard work has paid off congrats everyone!
