It's that time of year! Right now I have over 2200 seeds started 😵‍💫 and plenty more to start in a few weeks, probably mid-March.
On top of staples like onions, leeks and celery I will be growing many flowers, because finding joy is vital these days. And herbs, to cut down on the grocery bill.

I've made major upgrades to my seed trays this year, but may need to add more shelving to accommodate the later starts.

Hey sheep friends!

I wanted to spread the word that voting is currently open for Board of Director positions for the newly revitalized Maine Sheep Breeders Association. I'm on the ballot (Susannah Koch), along with a lot of other great candidates.

If you own sheep, or even are just interested in sheep, fiber or locally produced meat, I highly encourage you to join MSBA (membership is currently FREE!) and vote before January 12th! There will be a meeting at the Ag show in Augusta on Jan 14th where the new BOD will be announced, this meeting will be available on zoom as well.

This one very tired group of creatures headed home from Common Ground Country Fair ! We had a great time and we are so happy to have talked to and connected with so many wonderful people! It was really fulfilling to meet so many people who share common interests and to share knowledge.
We can't wait to see you all again next year!
