Today is World Bee Day. These hard working insects deserve a day of their own!

Twelve bees will work their entire lives to produce one teaspoon of honey. One bee colony will visit 2 million flowers to produce a pound of honey. Their pollination efforts are key to producing flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

It would be a drab and hungry world without bees, not to mention one less sweet!
