The charcoal's still warm, the sky's gone pink, and someone just poured something worth staying outside for.

There's a specific kind of Minnesota evening where the lake goes still, the sky turns that ridiculous amber color, and someone inevitably says "we should really do this more often." That's Minnesota Maple in a jar.

Rich maple, warm spice, a little woodsy sweetness, and just enough Northwoods magic to make your bourbon taste like a cabin weekend you didn't actually take.

Some nights, the plan is no plan.

Just the fire, the water, and whoever's still around when the sky goes amber. Northern summers up here are so damn short that you eventually stop waiting for a reason to gather. Tuesday? Sure. Random Saturday night with nothing on the calendar? Even better.

The mosquitoes are undefeated. The lake is finally warm. Somebody always brings the wrong kind of chair. Somebody else stays "just one more hour" three times in a row.

That's the whole Gray Duck universe. Cabins, bonfires, calm water, good company, and the quiet agreement that we're not going anywhere for a while.
