Now that our August markets are all done, we’ve got our September schedule here for you! The 2026 pepper harvest has begun and this month we’ll be very busy behind the scenes, getting ferments going and cooking a lot of sauce! This includes the return of Peach Fuzz!!! That’s right Peach Fuzz will be back in just a couple of weeks. Anyhow, we may have some additional market dates but this is what I’ve got at the moment. Hope to see you guys out there!

It’s that time of year when the garden is producing in turbo mode! Definitely one of my favorite times! Autumn is in the air, chilies are coming in and I start think about our seasonal sauces which are 100% made with locally grown chilies from Whatcom and Skagit counties. This harvest here in the pics is all from our veggie garden and I harvested all of it yesterday when I got home from work. We’ve got a red Caribbean chili (scotch bonnet variety), Italian plums, yellow plum tomatoes, poblano chili, serrano chili, tomatillos & garlic (just cured). I will definitely be making a spicy Italian plum jam as I do every year, tomatillo salsa and some chili in the very near future! As for those yellow toms, they usually get eaten within a day or so or end up in a salad!
