2026 AQHA/APHA (pending) Red Dun Roan C**t: YBR Zeus Sparkd Red

This big, stout guy is looking for his next home!

Zeus is the first foal from our cross of Vera (Docs Fire Dun Sparkd) and Jackson (Dirks Blue Lexus), and we’re really happy with what these two produced.

He is already showing off plenty of size, bone, color, and substance. He’s a big-built c**t with a star and a small white streak on his left hind leg, and that red dun roan color is only going to get better as he matures. Expected height around 16 hands.

Jackson our blue roan stud brings his own strong ranch and roan heritage, including Hancock, Blue Valentine, Mr Roan Hancock, Salty Roan, and Pawnee Eagle bloodlines.

On the dam’s side, Vera brings proven performance bloodlines including Doc Bar, Doc Olena, Si Olena, Docs Acey Deucey, Joe Quincy, and Sir Quincy Dan.

We are currently waiting on his APHA registration.

2026 AQHA Bay filly: YBR Legend of Zara

Here’s a filly with a pedigree that speaks for itself, loaded with reining, cow, cutting, roping, athleticism, and versatility!

Zara is sired by Tinsel Peppermint, an NRHA money-earner and son of the legendary Hollywoodstinseltown, a $3 million sire known for producing elite modern reining horses.

Her dam, LegendsCustomDiamond (“Diamond”), is by Custom Legend, an NRHA earner with $226,375 LTE and a son of Custom Crome, a $4 million sire and one of the most influential names in modern reining.

On the bottom side, Diamond is out of Zans Diamond Lass, an AQHA mare with 35 Pleasure points, and by Zans Diamond Sun, an AQHA World Champion Junior Reining Horse with 356 AQHA points and multiple Superior awards in heading, heeling, and calf roping.

That puts some serious performance bloodlines behind this filly: Hollywoodstinseltown, Hollywood Dun It, Grays Starlight, Custom Crome, Custom Legend, and Zans Diamond Sun, with generations of proven athleticism, trainability, and versatility.

2026 AQHA Bay Roan C**t: YBR Blue Bee Zephyr

If you’re looking for a bay roan c**t with a future in the roping pen, take a look at this guy!

Zephyr is by our blue roan stallion Dirks Blue Lexus (Jackson) and out of JT Hancock Blue Bee (Dixie). We expect him to mature around 15–16 hands, giving him plenty of size and room to make a serious performance prospect.

This pair have been a proven money-producing combination in the roping world, and their foals have consistently been exceptional. We’ve seen it firsthand when we personally chose to keep the only filly from this cross, and we absolutely love her.

This is the first foal from this cross that has made it to weaning without already having a new home, so here’s your chance to get in on a cross we have a lot of faith in.

We’re excited to introduce a beautiful bay filly out of LegendsCustomDiamond (“Diamond”) and sired by Tinsel Peppermint, an NRHA money-earner and son of the legendary Hollywoodstinseltown.

Diamond joined the Yellow Bank Ranch broodmare band in January and this filly is her very first foal here at YBR. Diamond is by Custom Legend (LTE $226,375), the highest-scoring horse ever recorded in an NRHA and a son of the influential Custom Crome, a $4 million sire and cornerstone of modern reining genetics.

On the bottom side, Diamond is out of Zans Diamond Lass, a mare that earned 35 AQHA Pleasure points and is by Zans Diamond Sun, an AQHA World Champion Junior Reining Horse with 356 AQHA points and multiple Superior awards in heading, heeling, and calf roping. These bloodlines have proven themselves both in and out of the show pen through generations of athleticism, trainability, and versatility.

The sire of this filly, Tinsel Peppermint, is an NRHA money-earner and a son of Hollywoodstinseltown, a $3 million sire known for producing elite modern reining horses. This cross combines some of the most recognizable and proven names in the performance horse industry.

This filly has all the ingredients to excel in the reining pen, cutting pen, ranch versatility, or cow horse events.

The “Z” crew is growing up!

These foals are officially hitting that fun stage where they start muscling up, stretching out, and really developing their own personalities. Watching them interact in the pasture has become one of our favorite parts of the day lately. We snapped some new sunset pictures of them last night and were too excited not to share them. 🌅

For those who don’t know, every year we pick one letter of the alphabet for naming our foals, and this year’s letter is Z. So far we have:

⚡ Ziggy
⚡ Zeus
⚡ Zephyr
⚡ Zinnia

Each one is unique in their own way, and we’re excited to continue watching them grow into themselves over the coming months. 2 more foals left to come!

All current foals are available, so if one has caught your eye, feel free to reach out!

Mother’s Day morning got a little busy around here! 🌸🐴

We were fully prepared for “Wh**ky” (JT BUSTER BEE EYE) to foal after watching her all night while she waxed up and her pH dropped. By morning, she welcomed a beautiful red dun roan filly with a blaze, stripe, and a little snip on the nose.

What caught us off guard was walking out to find that “Dixie” (JT HANCOCK BLUE BEE) had decided to join the party too, giving us a bay roan c**t with no white markings at all. Apparently nobody wanted to let Wh**ky have all the attention this Mother’s Day. 😅

Healthy mares, healthy foals, and a pretty good way to spend Mother’s Day if you ask us. 💕

That brings us down to just two foals left for the season, one due in June and our final mare due in July. Foaling season is flying by, and we’re excited to see what these last two mares have in store for us!

This long-awaited foal is finally here and this handsome guy marks our first cross of “Vera” (Docs Fire Dun Sparkd) and “Jackson” (Dirks Blue Lexus).

This c**t is a big, stout red dun roan with a star and a tiny white streak on his left hind leg. We were really hoping Vera would crank up the white this year with her splash gene… but apparently she missed the memo. 🥲

What he lacks in chrome, though, he’s already making up for with bone, height, and color. This guy is built BIG already and looks like he’s going to grow into one heck of a horse.

Even better, he will be double registered AQHA/APHA and is 6-panel negative:
✔ HERDA
✔ HYPP
✔ MH
✔ MYHM
✔ PSSM1
✔ LWO

Needless to say, we’re pretty excited about this one and can’t wait to watch him grow. Foaling season is rolling right along around here!

This c**t will be available at weaning, and we are accepting deposits to hold him until then.

2026 foaling season has kicked off here at Yellow Bank Ranch: a red roan c**t out of Skye and sired by our blue roan stallion Dirks Blue Lexus (Jackson).

This flashy c**t came packing the chrome with three white socks (including apparently swiping the opposite front one right off his mom), a sharp star, and a lightning-bolt stripe down the bridge of his nose. He’s already showing off plenty of roan.

What makes this c**t extra special is his dam, Skye, our only grade mare and the very first foal ever born here on the ranch back in 2014. Seeing her now welcome another c**t (4 foals and all c**ts, guess she doesn’t want to be a girl mom) into the world feels like a true full-circle moment and a proud milestone for our program.

✨ This c**t will be available at weaning, and we are accepting deposits to hold him until then. He will be unregistered, but we do have most of his lineage documented, including his sire’s full registered pedigree. ✨

We’re excited for what this c**t brings and can’t wait to share his progress as the season unfolds. We also have a couple other mares following really close behind, so stay tuned for more updates!
