💧 On another episode of "Fix My Water"! 💧
We took a trip out to Caledonia, Illinois to give this homeowner’s water system a major upgrade. Here is how we turned their household supply into clean, chlorine-free, high-quality drinking water.
We Installed a dual-purpose mid plate tank packed with catalytic carbon and high-grade resin to strip out chlorine, harsh chemicals, and hard minerals.
Then we installed a dedicated 4 stage RO system paired with a large 14 gallon storage tank for incredible water pressure and continuous supply.
Plumbed the purified RO water straight to a new dedicated faucet at the kitchen sink and hooked it directly up to the refrigerator for clean ice and water on demand.

It’s past 9 PM... do you know where your Water Man is? 🌙💧
Heading back to the shop after a long, late night of service work and installs!
Tonight’s install took us out to the Village of Fox River Grove, where a homeowner experienced every homeowner's water nightmare, an old softener failed and blew resin beads through all the plumbing in the house. The first thing we did was completely flush and clean out the home’s water lines to clear the resin blockages. Then we replaced the failed unit with a new mid-plate softener packed with catalytic carbon.
By adding catalytic carbon not only does the softener soften the water but it strips out chlorine, protecting the home’s plumbing and preventing chlorine-related breakdown on the new system for years to come.

Out with the old, in with the new! 💧✨
Today in Machesney Park, we swapped out a tired water softener and Reverse Osmosis system dating all the way back to 2008. The old proprietary setup was struggling to keep up, and the under-sink RO kept plugging filters because it was running on raw, unconditioned water.
We gave this home a complete upgrade.
