NC State University is hiring a full-time Research Technician for the Butner Beef Cattle Field Lab (BBCFL) located in Bahama, NC!

About the Role:
Position: Research Technician
Location: Bahama, NC (a 1,250-acre research facility just north of campus)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with occasional weekends/holidays)
Anticipated Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting faculty with research setup, implementation, and accurate data logging.
Caring for livestock and maintaining field/horticultural crops according to research protocols.
Operating and maintaining farm equipment (tractors, loaders, etc.).
Working outdoors in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
