We’ve made it back home from the SCA Georgia State Championship in Folkston, Georgia, and what a weekend it was!😎
One of the best parts of these events is getting to see and spend time with our SCA family from all across the country. There’s never a dull moment when our SCA friends get together, and we made a lot of great memories over the weekend.
Somewhere between all the laughs, stories, and fellowship, we managed to squeeze in a little competition cooking too!

As if competing wasn’t enough, we also cooked a whole hog for the potluck dinner!🐷
A huge thank you to Hal Keene and everyone involved in putting on another outstanding event. The hospitality, organization, and atmosphere were second to none.👏👏👏
🏆Congratulations to all the cooks who heard their numbers called! Huge congrats to Heath Bletzacker for winning the Georgia Steak Championship and to Susan Handy for winning the Georgia Ancillary Championship!
We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
