In our fall/spring decal, we'll teach you the essentials to water treatment and you'll have the opportunity to learn design and apply both as we prepare for an interc

ollegiate competition. Cal Environmental Team is a civil engineering competition team that participates in an annual water treatment competition (ASCE Mid-Pacific Student Conference). Given a scenario, wastewater recipe, list of household materials to use, and target water quality parameters, we design and practice constructing water filters, lab testing our water and improving our design throughout the year. After we finalize a design for the competition, we also prepare a technical presentation, report, and poster, all of which are major components of our score.
