Working cattle on a cool summer evening hits different. Great weather, healthy herd, and kids laughing, giggling, and playing. We are thankful for these last few summer sunsets.

There's just something about a summer evening.

Clear skies, cool air. As we filled buckets with grain, our cows mosied on over to the fence, watching us with those curious faces as if they were checking in to see what we were up to.

It's such a simple routine, but it's one of those moments that reminds you how blessed this life really is. Peaceful
evenings, good company, and the quiet rhythm —it's hard to beat. ❤️

Beef stew.

Perfect for a cold rainy day.

We use the stew meat and cut it just a bit for smaller bites.

A time saving tip: most of my veggies are pre-cooked and we can whip this up in under 30 minutes.
