Earth Day is everyday here at Garden Grove Inn. 🌎🌱🌳 When you stay with us, know we do all we can to be sustainable. Some of our contributions include…
💡Most hallway lights are motion activated
🫧Plastic-free shampoo and body bars
🚰 No water bottles! We provide a water cooler to fill up a glass or water bottle
♻️ We make it easy to recycle, and limit trash as much as possible
🧺 We encourage you to re-use towels to decrease the number of wash cycles
🌻All food scraps and coffee grounds get composted, thanks to our partnership with Turtle Ridge Compost
📍Buy local as much as possible, which is especially easy thanks to all the amazing local farms, farmers and makers
🍽️ Use as few disposable, and as many reusable, products as possible
🌳 Limit chemicals on and around the property, and support our local nature areas

318 LBS of food waste going straight to the compost piles! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 THIS is the difference composting makes for reducing the landfills & emissions. Food waste does not decompose the same when it goes to the landfill.
