Nothing better than coming through the gate and seeing a good set of Herefords waiting on you.

These Herefords are built for Texas Hill Country heat. Hardy, tough, maternal, and deep bodied! Just another day at Rafter V Cattle Company in Bertram, Texas. Building a quality Hereford seedstock operation one generation at a time.

The Bull That Leads Our Program….

Hereford genetics have earned their reputation the honest way—through generations of calving ease, maternal excellence, longevity, and the kind of disposition that works as hard as they do.

Standout is helping carry that tradition forward here at Rafter V Cattle Company, producing functional, ranch-raised Hereford seedstock built for the Texas Hill Country and beyond.

Introducing RAFTER V LONE STAR LADY 424P

Sired by HVR MR 047E STANDOUT 16G 369K and out of BK LOVELY GIFT 9104L, this young Hereford heifer represents everything we love about ranching in TEXAS — grit, soundness, maternal strength, and cattle built to thrive in the tough Hill Country.

Around here, Herefords are still king. Built for the heat, the rocks, the cedar breaks, and the ranching way of life.
