It has been a minute since I came on here and gave a review, so welcome back to my page!!!

If you havent been to Stop and Go Taco in Bethany Beach yet — you are missing out! It is definitely going to be my go to after the beach in the summer time! This authentic family owned resturaunt has dine in and carry out options, and the cutest inside decor giving it a homey feel. You all know I LOVE LOVE LOVE when the kitchen is able to be seen by the public, and the customer service was absolutley outstanding.

The chips were warm, giving the impression they were homemade and the asada tacos were so good and worth it. Its great to see a real Mexican resturaunt closer then Selbyville bringing amazing homecooked family style food to Bethany Beach! Now the real star of the show was my 3 meat bowl (which is big enough for at least 2 meals making the $20 price point so worth it) including shrimp, chicken, steak, rice, cheese, pico, sour cream, and lettuce. They also give you 3 homemade sauces to choose from — hot, mild, and chipotle which was my personal favorite.

We 10000% will be back consistenly this summer and are so excited to have something different in Bethany Beach!

Value: 8.5/10

We started with the BBQ slider trio (pork, beef, chicken + coleslaw). The pulled pork was the standout — tender, flavorful, exactly what you want from a BBQ spot. The chicken was seasoned really well. Coleslaw was average, nothing bad, just nothing memorable.

The margarita was perfectly balanced — not too strong, not overloaded with mixer. I did have to send back a lemon crush because it was too sour at first, but they fixed it immediately and it came back great, which I always appreciate.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, mac and cheese was creamy and solid, and while the shrimp were a little hard to peel, the seasoning was really good. The fish tacos were simple but decent — about what you’d expect from a place that specializes in barbecue.

Our server Amelie was so sweet and attentive, which definitely elevated the experience. For the amount of food we ordered, the pricing felt fair.

Overall: solid first impression and I’d definitely go back.

well… i guess you can consider this my debut! welcome to my food blog, apron strings attached, where you get real restaurant experience from someone who works on the inside 👀🍽️

we’re starting off with a bang, let me tell you. i had breakfast at daybreak cafe and it did not disappoint. our server, alina, was an absolute sweetheart and didn’t question our massive order one bit (which i always appreciate).

the pancakes were a fluffy dream, and the fruit and veggies were beyond fresh. plus, i genuinely had some of the best cheesy scrambled eggs i’ve ever had at a restaurant. like… top tier.

the environment, while minimalist, was so welcoming. it definitely felt like a local favorite because they were busy the whole time. you can see straight into the kitchen, which i love, and the artwork on the walls was beautiful — i didn’t get tired of looking at it once.

do yourself a favor and check it out if you’re in the fenwick / selbyville area, located in refuge plaza. you will not regret it.
