Milk Kefir Grains for Sale!

How to care for them:
Feed them milk every 24-36 hours. Feed a ratio of 1 cup of milk per 1 tsp grains. You leave the jar on the counter at room temperature with a breathable cover over it (away from other things that are fermenting like your sourdough starter). Once the time is up, you strain the grains out with a stainless steel or plastic colander (not aluminum). Pour your kefir in a jar and store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks. Feed your grains in a new jar and start the process over! We enjoy our kefir at the 36 hour mark but I recommend newbies try it at 24 hours first to see if they like the taste! It gets stronger and thicker with longer fermentation.

What are the benefits of kefir?
•Rich in probiotics that help support a healthy gut microbiome which can support immune balance and reduce inflammation.
•Known as “nature’s probiotics”
•Tolerated better than regular milk because the grains consume part of the lactose during fermentation.
•Rich in vitamins and minerals.

We drink it daily with smoothies but it has many uses. They multiply every 6-8 weeks! They are super easy to care for. My grains are 6 months old & very active!
