15 of our elementary schools received the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program grant this year. This grant allows RCPS in partnership with SodexoMagic to provide a fresh fruit or vegetable to elementary students three days per week. Today, students have a chance to try pomegranate as part of their FFVP snack, which is the first time we have offered it! Our partners at SodexoMagic created an awesome video for families to learn more about pomegranates.

Today's news was delivered by a special guest: NBA legend Magic Johnson! Mr. Johnson owns SodexoMagic, RCPS' food services vendor.
