Happy COLD Saturday morning!! 🥶

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will NOT be at the indoor market this morning in Monticello as planned.

🍪 I have listed the baked goods I still have available (some have already been spoken for)

🌱 I also have some greens still available too! (Anyone whose order was due for delivery next week could get delivery today if that’s what you’re looking for!)

The indoor market is still happening 9-12 today at the Monticello Community Center!!

It took a while to get in the spirit (no snow is kind of a bummer) but I am finally so excited for Christmas and honored to be a part of other family’s celebrations 🎄

I have ONE space left open for deliveries Saturday afternoon!!

NOTE:

Everyone who ordered within the last 2 weeks will hear from me by tonight, if you don’t - PLEASE reach out! I’ve been working on my website and now have an app where I can manage invoices, payments and deliveries which will make things MUCH easier you me and you both!! BUT, that means something may have fallen through the cracks. I am remedying that today!

Change of plans…

Instead of our normal delivery schedule, I harvested all of the trays and packaged them in “bulk”

Pictures contain the weight of each bag - normal containers or jars are 60-75g each and are $6 each

Please make an offer/pay what you can

*you must pick them up*

There will be a cooler sitting out front, you can leave cash or use Venmo. I will have a qr code on the cooler if you don’t yet have it!

This is a great way to try our greens, and the large quantities be great to juice or dehydrate for green powder!

🍁 Happy Thanksgiving 🍁

I am so grateful I’m able to be a part of so many family meals in our community!

I’m doing the last deliveries for the week this morning and then the oven will be off until Monday 😆

Normal deliveries will begin again next week!

🌻🌱 Pop Up Market this THURSDAY 11-2 🌱🌻

Microgreens: radish, broccoli & sunflower ($6 each)

Sourdough: plain, jalapeño cheddar, & pumpkin shaped loaves ($10) and English Muffins ($6)

End Of Garden: tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, rainbow chard, zucchini (huge!), nasturtiums, marigolds, basil & oregano (pay what you can!)

Hot sauce 🔥🔥🔥($10)

First come, first served - UNLESS you preorder

Another great Monticello Farmers Market tonight! We sold out in just a couple hours! 🙌

So many people stopping to get sourdough loves and English muffins, I can’t keep up!

If you’d like bread and you know you’ll be at the market - you can always PREORDER!

I usually only make 4-6 loaves and 4-8 packages of English muffins and HALF are usually spoken for before the market starts 🤯

I don’t like to end up with too many and it takes 12-16 hours to make the bread 🥖

If I know by Tuesday or Wednesday, I can have your order waiting for you!!

Same for greens, I plant based on past markets - I usually have enough greens for the market, but we sold out of them tonight too! 🌱

I’ll do better next week 😆

If you liked the jalapeño & cheddar sourdough, let me know! I’ll plan on bringing a couple loves next week!

Happy Market Day!

Unfortunately I won’t be at the market today, I woke up not feeling very well so I’m taking time to rest. (No fever or anything, but very achy and my head is in a fog)

Anyone who had deliveries scheduled for today, I will reach out to you personally to reschedule!

I do have 5 loaves of sourdough fresh baked today, 2 are “anything but the bagel” flavored and 3 are my normal sourdough - pm me if you’re interested!

I will be harvesting greens tomorrow morning and I will post what I have left for sale then (The trays I would’ve sold at the Monticello Farmers Market this afternoon)

🎅 Christmas In July is gonna be HOT today at Monticello Farmers Market

Come see Santa and get your microgreens, sourdough bread, sourdough English muffins, edible flowers and all the greens you need for your own garden pesto!

Stay cool in the mist tent, plus I’ll have ice and a fan blowing to keep the greens fresh and delicious 😂

See you there 3:30-7 (we’ll close earlier if it storms!)

SO many people at the market on Wednesday asked me to make more of my garden pesto, so based on my garden haul this morning I decided to make a HUGE batch while my dilly beans process!

I will NOT process them - pesto is WAY better raw, so it will be in a jar but will need to be refrigerated!

If you want to make a batch yourself, here are the ingredients. I just make it - no recipe - just add each thing to taste!

🌱 Kale (takes stem off, any tough green will work!)
🌱 Basil (if yours is flowering, remove the seed head!)
🌱 microgreens (I use pea, radish & sunflower)
🧄 garlic (& scapes if you still have some)
🥜 walnuts (any but will do!)
🧀 Parm (I use fresh shredded or shaved)
🫒 Olive oil (I use light tasting but any will work)
🧂 salt to taste

Put it all in a blender and add oil to the right consistency. Add garlic, salt & basil until it tastes right!

** If anyone wants a huge zucchini or cabbage/broccoli/Brussels leaves for green juice or powder I have a TON too!!

** Nasturtiums flowers and greens available too (the whole thing is edible and delicious!)
