🐾 A PROGRAM WORTH SHARING: CAREER CATS! 🐾

Hi everyone! Taylor here, co-owner of Doug Anderson Plumbing & Heating alongside my husband, Doug.

We wanted to share a program that’s personal to us. Doug and I have adopted two Career Cats of our own, Capri & Elsie, through the Associated Humane Societies Career Cats Program, and it has been such a great experience. ❤️

Career Cats are cats who may not be suited for traditional indoor homes and are happier living a more independent lifestyle. They’re placed in barns, garages, farms, workshops, and other appropriate properties where they can have a safe home while also helping with rodent control. 🐈🐭

The program made the entire process easy, bringing Capri & Elsie right to us and helping us through their relocation and acclimation period so they could safely settle into their new home.

The cats come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, microchipped, and ear-tipped. You provide them with safe shelter, fresh food and water, veterinary care, and a place to call home.

Capri & Elsie have been such a great addition to our property, but even more so to our family. We’d love to help more Career Cats find their place. ❤️
