Beachnut Farm is all about finding a balance in the modern world we live in and bringing back old traditions. I know those two things may sound contradictory but they really don't have to be. But we're not all going to move to Alaska and live off the grid although that does sound pretty awesome!! So we have to find a balance. A very fine line. A little about me, Megan, I'm a wife to Josh, Mom to Allison and Cash, stay at home Mom (most of the time, I do have several small jobs), lover of animals and nature. Most of you that like this page probably already knew all that but you know, formalities....Josh, the kids and I always talk about wanting to have a farm, like a real farm. Cows, horses, tractors and lots of hard work but since none of us really know how to actually take care of cows horses, and we don't have any fields to plow yet we decided we would start small. Two years ago we got chickens, about two weeks ago we got ducks and three days ago we got two baby goats. And of course we have some dogs and cats to throw in that mix. Now we have our little farm of animals and lots of hopes and dreams. I'll share those hopes, dreams and future plans with everyone in my posts. Stay tuned! :)
