I had to share this with you guys.....

I had a mild but stubborn knee injury after lifting free weights in the gym. I did everything I knew to do to get the swelling to go down.

I iced it, I soaked in an epsom salt bath, I elevated it at night, I bought knee sleeves and I even rested it for several days but it never failed that after every workout the swelling would return.

I was determined that despite my age I was not ready to put up with these types of problems, so I went on an ANTI-INFLAMMATORY journey where I stopped eating meat and substituted plant based alternatives for dairy except cheese. I love cheese.

To my surprise my knee hurt remarkably less by the end of the first week and the pain was totally gone by the end of the week.

Not to mention, my energy was so through the roof. I said all of this to say give an anti-inflammatory diet a try. You may find that your pain disappears.

Here is a great and tasty anti-inflammatory drink recipe to drink first thing in the morning.

8-10 oz of spring water
The juice of 2 key Limes.
1/4 inch thick slice of ginger
1/2 teaspoon of tumeric powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Capful of Apple Cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of Agave Syrup

Blend it up and drink it down. It’s tasty and great for your immunity and gut health which are both essential in fighting inflammation in the body.
