We are heartbroken to hear about the passing of Chris Stewart.

Many of you may remember Chris and his wife, Krista, from their Off Beat Catering food pop-ups here at Hop City. Chris was truly one of the kindest people you could ever meet. He had such a warm heart, and his smile would light up every conversation.

‼️ Bessemer has a black owned winery! ‼️Chateau Bevvy Winery’s soft opening was PACKED and I know that’s because people on this side of town have been waiting for something like this. The line was long, so I had to double fist with the Chardonnay and Riesling. Loved the dry Riesling but I wish the Chard had more or a buttery mouthfeel (I’m aware I’m in the minority here 🤣). My friends and I had a great time!! There were great vibes all around and I cannot wait to go back and hang out. I’m so happy you’re here Chateau Bevvy! 🍷

Yall know I’m an IPA girlie through and through. Recently I checked out Back Forty Beer Company Birmingham’s Sundown Tropical Hazy IPA. It was full bodied & juicy without being sweet and definitely had me wanting another sip!
