It is time to start taking orders for the 2016 season. We are pleased to mention that the prices have remained the same as last year. Our goal is to butcher chickens to be 5-6 pounds dressed out. These are whole birds, great for roasting and will be delivered frozen. We are pleased to offer the following options with prices listed below.
Whole Bird $2.80 per pound
Bird cut in 1/8ths $3.10 per pound
Heart 20¢ each
Gizzard 60¢ each
Liver 30¢ each
Giblets will be packaged separately. There are normally extra available if you wish so just let us know if you want to order more. We can also split the cut birds into two packages (half in each) for an extra $1.50 per bird. Any orders of 20 birds or more will receive a 5% discount.
In an effort to keep costs low for our customer’s, deliveries to Green Bay will be limited to once per group like last year. We encourage people to pick up at the farm or even visit us during the growing process.
As always we grow our chickens with special care and without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Our feed is mixed and supplied from our local feed mill. We will be doing multiple groups with delivery dates approx. late June and late Oct. Let us know if you have a preference for first, second or to split across the groups.
