What an incredible way to finish out the BBQ competition season! 🏆🔥
We were in Big Lake yesterday, supporting a great cause, Beyond the Yellow Ribbon. Despite the rain, so many people came out and it was amazing to see the public enjoying our ribs! ❤️

What a great weekend at ! This has been a favorite contest for team Sassy Smoke for years, and this year, despite the chilly rainy weather, didn’t disappoint!

As part of this event, there is a People’s Choice rib contest where ticket sales go to the foundation to help with all the work they do and outreach to the community- we are proud to say that Team Sassy Smoke- really my wonderful husband and parents- cooked 32 racks of ribs to serve to the public!!! Thanks Big Racks Barbecue for letting us bring in the big Outlaw smoker to make that happen!

Six Backyard teams punched their ticket to the 350 Club this weekend.

Big Mike’s Smokehouse led the charge with a 353.1544, followed closely by Sassy Smoke BBQ at 353.1200.

Twenty-one perfect scores made the list, including Old Virginia Smoke earning two 180s in the same contest. That will get your attention.
