Happy New Year everyone!

It's been all quiet here on the homestead, hunkered down during the winter and winds. Figured I'd update with a few photos.

We have a heron living on our pond that I've yet to snag a photo of, and there's a mated pair of eagles that flies over head from time to time.

I know its been several days since we've checked in so I come bearing pictures of some really cute little piggies. We took a few hours to completely refresh the pens this weekend since it was dry (for all of two seconds haha!) The girls and boys are loving their new jungle of straw! We've had them home for almost a month now and they're finally starting to settle in.

Real quiet over here for the last few days. All the animals are nestled up in the straw to hide from this wicked flooding. Hoping it lightens up soon because the chores never stop, they just get a lot more soggy! ☔🌧️🐷🐽🐐

Two new varieties of Blueberries in the ground at the farm this week.

Liberty and Aurora varieties work well together, their ability to cross-pollinate will give us a nice, long harvesting season next year - meaning plenty of fruit for pies, jam, smoothies and fresh eating 🫐🌿🪏
