📢 story time📢!
Once upon a time, I made Tim trail around in Mexico for PURE Mexican vanilla. Thought we had won when we negotiated a deal for multiple bottle to bring home for ourselves as well as family members. Until we actually read the ingredients and figured out the ‘pure’ was in fact, not. From that point on, anytime we went to MX I again had this man in every grocery store within a few miles but not for vanilla- but the beans!!!!

Long story short, I couldnt find a decent price let alone fly with them so I found a wholesaler. When I tell you these beans are big and full of caviar, JACKPOT!!! We’ve got REAL. PURE. Double fold vanilla brewing up and ready this spring. It’s great for coffee, baking, literally ANYTHING you want to put a splash in!! Each bean is hand split before being submerged into vodka then left to sit for nearly a year; only to be touched long enough to shake 2x a day!

Oof! it's been a dry, cold season and our girls have taken a BIG break from laying! We're letting them rest up in hopes they'll be kicking it in over drive as we head into spring. We'll keep you posted once the ladies are back to work! Also, we will be doing spring meat birds again which should be ready in early/ mid may so keep an eye out for those updates as well!

That first egg feeling never gets old! Looks like a few of our spring babies are starting to lay!

Also, our meat birds so be here on the 11th and ready to process right before Thanksgiving. Stay tuned if you’re interested in a whole bird. If there’s enough interest we may do organic.

Did you know the secret to getting FRESH hard boiled eggs to peel perfectly?! STEAM THEM!!! I’ve tried aaallll the things- vinegar, baking soda, ice bath- nothing worked to get my eggs to peel perfectly. Until now!!! I just did a special order for a dozen hard boiled and voila- perfection! If you’re like me and bring deviled eggs to every event, turn to the steamer! I used my ninja with 1 cup of water on a rack for ten minutes 👌🏻
