It's been a while since our last update. Farm work has been all-consuming, but we have a few announcements and updates to make... with more to follow!

Our bottle baby, the last doeling, went home to a family friend with their own goat farm.

Lucy's twins and Laverne's doeling were reserved quickly, and then Laverne's buckling also went home with Lucy's boys.

All of our kids from our first crop have found homes!

Once again, three days later on the dot (Jan 21st) our last kid of the season was born.

A healthy brown doeling. No dapples from her momma. Unfortunately, she was rejected and is a bottle baby.

Her momma is Lucy's twin and has the same sire as the buckling twins, so she's also an almost even three-way split of Nubian, Boer, & Spanish.

She's been receiving a colostrum supplement for the first 24 hours. She's getting the hang of accepting the bottle and is nice and strong!

On Sunday (Jan 18th), just 3 days from our first births, Lucy gave birth to twin boys!

Neither inhabited their mom's dapples, but, one of the bucklings could practically be Bo's 'mini me' with his daddy's coloration- you can really see the Spanish goat influence with his color. His brother has a nice striking coat often found in Nubians.

These boys have an almost perfectly even percentage of Nubian, Boer, & Spanish blood.

Both boys will be available once weaned.

We haven't been active on social media for a while (super busy on the farmstead), but this news is too big not to share!...

This past Thursday (Jan 15th) we came back from a hay run to find Laverne 🐐 had given birth to twins!

A spotted buckling and a red/white doeling. 50% Boer with a mix of Nubian and Spanish.
