Here is a little kids fairytale dream pony! Lacy is a stunning 6 year old blue roan paint Half Gypsy Vanner mare standing 12.1 hands tall with a thick, sturdy build and the sweetest personality you could ask for. She is truly the kind of pony that is hard to find, she’s safe, gentle, honest, and absolutely one of a kind. Lacy is exceptionally safe both on the ground, under saddle, and driving. ANYONE that can hold the reins can drive Lacy. She is 100% safe on the highway or in the field. Lacy is EASY EASY to handle. She has an outstanding disposition, loves attention, and will always be the first one to meet you in the pasture. She has been extensively hauled to town, trail rides, rodeos, team ropings, barrel races, and all sorts of busy environments, and she handles every experience with confidence and ease. She has been drove extensively on busy traffic roads everyday. Tarps, flags, traffic, dogs, crowds, sidewalks, machinery, goats, and other livestock do not bother her in the slightest. She hauls beautifully, settles easily in new places, and eats and drinks without issue wherever she goes. Her ground manners are second to none. Lacy leads, loads, ties quietly, and stands patiently for grooming, bathing, saddling, bridling, and harnessing. She is incredibly gentle and patient with children, and I would trust her with even the smallest kids. My 7 year old catches, grooms, saddles, and bridles her completely on her own, even while riding a Segway, and Lacy never bats an eye. She truly has an old soul and takes wonderful care of her little riders. Under saddle, Lacy is as versatile as they come and rides Western, English, and BRIDLE-LESS. She would make an excellent short stirrup pony, willingly and confidently easing over small jumps with smooth, flowing movement. She is very easy to ride with a kind, eager to please attitude. Lacy walks, trots, and lopes nice circles, has a great stop, turns around correctly, and is dependable both in and out of the arena. She has been started on barrels, poles, goat tying, and breakaway, and has also been used as a lead-line pony for the little ones. Lacy even LAYS DOWN!! Outside the arena is where Lacy truly shines. She is a dependable trail pony that takes excellent care of her rider through rough country, steep creek crossings, and difficult terrain. She will calmly ease into and out of water without hesitation and will never jump or rush through it. She rides quietly alone or in a group and is comfortable leading or following on a loose rein. Lacy has also been used for hog hunting, working cattle, dragging logs, and even rides DOUBLE and TRIPLE, proving she is as handy as she is gentle. Lacy is easy to catch no matter how many acres she is turned out on, the she will always be the first to meet you. She requires no special maintenance, stays easy to keep, and is 100% sound and barefoot. She is up to date on farrier, deworming, and vaccinations. Ponies like Lacy are incredibly hard to find, and she truly is the total package with a kind heart and a forever-home personality. 100% sound and UTD on everything! Stays barefoot! ❤️
