After the food pantry today we headed out for a lunch ride to Catfish Charlie's Restaurant & Lounge - Wellington, MO . Great food, great service and even better company.

Today we were on the road to Missouri Veterans Cemetery-Higginsville to pay our respects to a veteran who had no family. Wherever we are needed.

he Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville is once again asking for anyone with a few minutes of free time to spare to come and honor a veteran that has passed with no known family. We would like to have a few folks come show support and act as interim "family and friends" for Richard Powell Jr, an Air Force veteran from the Vietnam era. The service is scheduled for Thursday, August 20th at 1:00PM. Thank you in advance if you are able to attend.

Today we held a food drive for the monthly food pantry held at The American Legion - Tirey J. Ford Post 21. Our partners at Hy-Vee are fantastic to work with and we always have a great day there.

Thanks to all of the generous folks who donated today. You have made certain that we can continue supporting veterans and we appreciate you!
