How do you take your steak? For years and years I would only eat it well done.
I couldn't even cook a rare/medium rare for my husband. Now it's the only way I cook it.

I did learn something though. I was so afraid of medium steaks because I didn't taste the flavor change from "big store" steaks.

When you buy local meat from your local farmers you'll taste a BIG difference in the taste, texture, and quality. Then you start to wonder what you've been eating all these years prior.

Is steak from a big brand store cheaper? Only by so much margin in origin, cattle feeding practices, and US cattle prices.

But you'll taste the difference between them and farm raised, and realize you were paying for poor quality meat with a premium gold sticker for marketing.

We don't need stickers and seals, the product speaks for itself. Oh and our butcher uses real USDA inspections.
