Boiling Down South We are a personal chef company that bring a taste of the low country to your home! Christopher, the oldest, has called the Lowcountry home for over two decades.

Boiling Down South: From Our Family to Your Table
Raised in the heart of the Lowcountry, three brothers — Christopher, Mercer, and Vandy — share a lifelong passion for good food, great company, and true Southern hospitality. What began as family gatherings and backyard boils has now become Boiling Down South, where the brothers bring the taste and tradition of the Lowcountry straight to your home. With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, he’s built a life around welcoming others — always ready to serve up a plate and a smile. His deep love for the region’s culture, cuisine, and community shines through every meal. Mercer, the middle brother, grew up steeped in Lowcountry life. His background in tourism and local history gives him a knack for sharing the stories behind the seafood — from the marshes to the table. He’s passionate about connecting visitors and locals alike to the authentic flavors and traditions that make the coast so special. Vandy, the youngest, is a proud combat veteran who has always found his way back home to the Lowcountry’s slow pace and good eats. From Carolina seafood shacks to hidden barbecue joints, he’s tasted his way through the coast and brings that same adventurous spirit and appreciation for honest cooking to every boil. Together, these brothers have turned their shared love for Lowcountry cooking into an experience — bringing their way of life to your table, right in the comfort of your home. Whether it’s your first taste of the South or a familiar favorite, Boiling Down South serves up more than just a meal — it’s a memory in the making.

One of our favorite parts of what we do is meeting people from all over and sharing a little piece of the Lowcountry with them! There’s something special about bringing people together over good food, great company, and a Lowcountry boil. We’re so grateful for every person we get to meet and every memory we get to be a part of. 🦀🌽
From our Lowcountry to your table that’s what Boiling Down South is all about!
