Recently, the focus of the Bird Breeders of Idaho has shifted, so we are having them create their own page, as a lot of time and resources were put into building this one. If you would like to join their new page, please visit the link below:

We will be changing the name of this page to the Quane Kenyon Memorial Bird Auction, which will celebrate the proud legacy of bird breeding in Idaho. Moving forward, this page will focus on promoting an annual bird auction in Southern Idaho, honoring the tradition and community built over the years, and encouraging new enthusiasts to discover and grow the hobby.

We are excited about this next chapter. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this page — we appreciate your support and look forward to what’s ahead!

We’re slowly recovering after an amazing show. We learned a lot, the majority of us having never put on a show before. Some of us had never even BEEN to a bird show before.

We are so grateful to all of our exhibitors and vendors. Your encouragement and feedback carried us through and made each interaction a delight. We are currently sorting through feedback we received and we’ll be meeting tomorrow to go through it and talk through what we’ve learned.

We’ll take a short break to catch our breath and then we’ll begin planning the fall show. Stay tuned for more details and a full, photo-filled post on the amazing weekend we had with all of our friends who also love poultry!

It’s today! Our Spring Fling Show! And it’s open to the public! We cooped in a little over half of our exhibitors this evening and setup space for our 575+ birds entered.

It’s going to be loud and awesome. Join us! Doors open to exhibitors at 7am and the public is welcome to come starting at 9am. For a full schedule, check out our website

Registration for our Spring Fling is now closed. Thank you for all who entered! We'll be reaching out soon with information to help streamline coop on for the show.

BUT, did you know we have youth activities? Registration is still open! Bring your best dressed, fastest eating, and fastest racing birds to the show for fun and prizes.

(All entrants are responsible for their birds. No cages will be available for youth activity entrants)

3 more days to fill out your entry form for the crazy poultry show at the Idaho Expo Center Bird Breeders of Idaho
Some of the exciting things on the program! Chicken Carnival hosted by Ava, our Youth Embassador, on the hour, with events of a fashion show, pie eating contest and hurdles! 1pm is the Dancing Saramas Contest 💃
We will have a licensed esthetics Brandi Hunter giving massages! Come check in at the office, get your paperwork, and let use help you coop in with your birds 🐥
Coop in, is until 7pm Friday. Saturday from 7am to 8:30m.

Don't forget to bring your appetite! There is a great basket full of goodies and a custom apron sewn by Kim Moody, to the winner of the chili contest! Chili table is a $5 tasting fee. You get to sample each one and place in order your favorite pick Joseph Davis and I are competing against each other;)
Come see some of the most incredible selection of poultry. We have attendees coming from 7 different states, including J & J Poultry from Alaska❤️ don't forget to buy your banquet dinner ticket! Holy Oly O's Mini Donuts will also be there with her Donuts and fancy drinks.

Calling all exhibitors, our show is now only 3 weeks away and registration is open through next Sunday, April 6, 2025. Space is limited and coops are filling up quickly!

All are welcome to attend and see the beautiful birds being brought by our exhibitors from 6 different states! Come share the joy and fun of poultry, take part in our youth events (all youth events are free!) and kick of spring with good food, a variety of vendors, and the opportunity to talk birds all day long.

Our bake sale starts tomorrow!! Sorry for the late notice. But the page has not been posting my information on the bake sale for some reason.

Come down to the feed mill tomorrow and Saturday to get some tasty treats!! And help support our club!

Our club is having a fundraiser this week!! Lots of great baked goods being brought to sell to raise money for our show coming up in April!!! So please come support us and tell your friends and family!!!

We are also looking for donations/Sponsors for our show too!! If your interested in helping in that way please send me a message!! Any amount helps us!
