Wellllllll…..

A mistake was made yesterday evening. Majority of our laying age quail decided to play escape, no fault of their own of course. I accidentally left the top layer of the quail tower open.

Needless to say we won’t have any quail eggs for a bit again as we wait for our younger birds to mature.

I might own 16 incubators but occasionally I let the birds do their own hatching for me.Currently have 2 Rouen ducks bro...

Currently have 2 Rouen ducks broody and my little black hen sitting on leghorn eggs. She’s a horrible mother, but a great incubator 🫣☠️ maybe this year will be the year she keeps them alive on her own before I steal them.
