👩🏼‍🌾OAK ISLAND FARMERS MARKET UPDATE🧑🏻‍🌾

After much thought, we’ve decided to sit out the Oak Island Farmers Market this season.

As a small family farm, we’re choosing to focus our time and energy on what happens here at Lively Grove including our u-pick blueberry and blackberry season, a brand new garden experience with vegetables, herbs and flowers, more farm tours than ever, and a few surprises we’re excited to share!

We’ll miss seeing everyone at the market, but we can’t wait to welcome you to the farm this season. 💙🫐

We are so excited to officially kick off blueberry season at the farm starting Saturday, June 6th! 💙

A quick note as we begin the season, this is just the start of our blueberry season, so while we do have berries available, peak season is still about 3–4 weeks away. Quantities may vary as more berries continue ripening each week.

Starting June 6th, we will also transition into our regular blueberry season hours! 🫐

Thank you all for your patience and excitement as we ease into another sweet summer on the farm. We can’t wait to welcome you back. 💙

BLUEBERRY SEASON GROUP TOURS 🫐

June is filling up for our blueberry group tours, but we still have June 10, 18 and 25 available.

We offer three experience options:

🫐Berry Basics — $5/person
U-pick a pint of fresh blueberries + a quick guide on how to pick the best ones. Containers included.

🫐Farm Education Tour — $10/person
A 15-minute educational tour of our pesticide-free farm, plus a pint of u-pick berries to take home. Containers included.

🫐Homeschool Special — $5/person
An educational farm presentation followed by u-pick at $6 per pound. Our most popular option for homeschool groups! We encourage bringing your own bucket as part of our sustainability practices, or grab one from us for $2.

These tours are a great fit for homeschool co-ops, daycare groups, church groups, and summer camps.

🌼 U-PICK GARDEN HOURS UPDATE 🌶️

Lively Grove Farms will be open Wednesdays and Fridays for u-pick flowers, vegetables, and herbs only.

These u-pick garden hours will remain in place until we officially open for blueberry season.

Hours:
Wednesdays: 8 AM – 1 PM
Fridays: 3 PM – 7:30 PM

The blueberries are starting to ripen, and we’re hoping to make an opening day announcement soon.

We appreciate your support as we await the berries!

We’re not just a berry farm anymore, come pick some flowers with us!

U-pick flowers are $15 to fill a 16oz cup. We grow dahlias, lily, snapdragon, cosmos, marigold & celosia.
