Nothing will get your heart pumping like seeing your RIR rooster, Jasper in the backyard at the exact same time as Bailee and Boomer! Typical, I can call them off, but their prey drive was strong. I can say their intentions were to play with, not kill him. If they had wanted to kill him, he would have been dispatched before I got to him.
I was able to hold Boomer back by his collar, which is no easy task (he allowed me to), shoo Bailee away, grab Jasper and toss him over the fence.....in my pajamas 🤪 I hope my neighbors enjoy the free entertainment I provide.
Jasper won't be shaking a tail feather for a while!
