Our Pyrenees Guardian dog is worth his weight in gold, for many reasons.

When most people picture a flock, they see sheep. But look closer and you’ll likely see a few large white dogs calmly watching over them.

These are livestock guardian dogs, and they play a critical role in keeping flocks safe across American ranches.

Here’s why they deserve your attention:

🐻 They act as a 24/7 early warning system, protecting sheep from predators like coyotes, wolves, bears, and mountain lions.
🌲 Their job isn’t to eliminate predators, it’s to deter them and help ranchers coexist with wildlife.
🐑 By protecting sheep, they help ensure healthy flocks that continue producing the wool used in clothing and home interiors.

This fleece is packed and ready to ship to you. It’s over 10 lbs of Corriedale ewe fleece from the 2025 clip. $75 for whole fleece including shipping and it’s ready to ship….I’ve already done all the wrestling to get it vacuum packed! Phew! Shipping fleeces is a work out! (*Additional shipping costs for Alaska and Hawaii)

We still have a few fleeces available from the 2025 clip. Shearing for 2026 will be mid-April.

If you’d like to select a fleece at the farm I will have open house hours later in April that will all be freshly shorn fleeces. Please send a message to make an appointment. Our fleeces get a primary skirting at the time of shearing. If you buy fleeces at the farm you are welcome to do your own secondary skirting at the farm so you go home with locks ready to wash.
