#53 Linda Jo had her first baby Tuesday night. She strolled off into the woods after feeding time and delivered her first calf under the light of the full moon. The calf is thought to be a bull. We'll hopefully be able to confirm that in the next couple days as we observe them. Ernesto should be happy now to have a new friend. We'll share the name once we confirm bull/heifer. Welcome to Land of Hope little one.

Brownie did a good job with this new little Valentine's baby. It would only be appropriate to call her Val. She's definitely a keeper. Midnight looks to be like she might need a few more weeks. Last year, Midnight delivered first then Brownie exactly two weeks later. We'll see what happens this year.

New year, new special! We will start offering bundles at Denim and Pearls, so stay tuned and watch what we offer. Our current bundle is a Steak Special. The bundle includes a pkg of T-bones, a pkg of NY Strip and a pkg of Round Steak. You get a total of six steaks for $50. There are four bundles available, bagged and ready to go! Yesterday, I received a message that a brisket (Nemo) that was consumed for Thanksgiving was delicious. Today, I received these pictures and kind words about our products. This is why we do what we do. Best part of their meal was knowing the quality of the meat and where it came from. That just thrills my heart.

So much to be thankful for! Dad and I made a beef delivery run to Illinois this week and we have so many new customers. The boys and I are thankful for your business and we look forward to providing more beef in March for the next trip up. (Sometime during the last full week of March during Spring Break) I tried to get pictures with everyone, but I got to talking with everyone and forgot a few. If I forgot you, please throw a picture in the comments with your beef if you'd like. Thank you ALL from the the Payton family and the Land of Hope herd! (I may have been provided the opportunity to enjoy a little chicken milano while I was in town. We also got to visit with my grandmother who is soon to be 95 years young and two of my uncles.) 💙
