Fall is here and Wusong Tiki Bar in Cambridge went all out with the Halloween decor, spooky cocktails, and seasonal bites! 🎃👻

This was my first time here and definitely won’t be my last! I loved the tiki bar vibe and the food was so tasty. They have so many fun cocktails and creative Asian plates to share, so it’s a great spot to come with friends. For drinks, I got the Yig Father of Serpents and loved the coffee flavor!

Everything we ordered for food was so good, but I especially recommend the Halloween duck special, coconut spareribs, sesame dan dan ragu, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, and Peking ravioli. We also had a hard time choosing dessert because there were so many unique options, but we went with the Vietnamese coffee sundae and it was soo delish! Definitely a spot I’d come back to. We had such a fun time here.

Tried a new Thai spot in Brookline after seeing my friend vivian 🥟 boston eats rave about it, and it definitely lived up to her review because it was amazing!

Chaba cafe has all the Thai classics, but I wanted to switch it up and order some dishes I don’t usually get. I got Thai iced tea and coconut juice (two of my fav Thai drinks), Thai crab cake, khao kha moo, khao soi crispy chicken, crispy pork with rice, and mango sticky rice with ice cream.

The portions were super generous, and everything was really good, but the khao soi was definitely a top dish for me. The broth and noodles were SO good! And the mango sticky rice with ice cream was bomb. I’d been craving it for weeks, and it hit the spot. Definitely need to come back here to try more of their menu!

I just discovered a new Turkish & Mediterranean spot in Fenway, and it’s amazing!! Fenway Grill & Bar took over the old Thornton’s space, and I’m so happy the neighborhood has a new local restaurant serving authentic, flavorful food in such a welcoming atmosphere.

They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus they have some great specials and combo meals that are great deals. We stopped by for dinner and ordered the baba ganoush and the mixed grill kebab platter (which was only $38 and came with SO much meat).

And don’t skip dessert. The knafeh was easily one of my favorite bites of the night. The combination of warm melted cheese and sweet syrup was unreal. 🤤 Next time I’m coming back for the lahmajun.

One of my favorite hotpot spots in Boston just launched a special Wagyu & Mushroom menu and I had to try it 🍄‍🟫🥩 Liuyishou Hotpot Boston

The wagyu was rich and flavorful, and the giant mushrooms were so fun to cut at the table. One thing I love about this spot is the variety of broths to choose from, plus their massive sauce bar loaded with toppings, cooked dishes, and snacks.

My must-orders are always the lamb and beef platters, along with the meatballs and fish balls. Everything tastes fresh and there are so many meat, seafood, and veggie options.

And you must save room for dessert. They had coconut sago soup, ice jelly, and plenty of toppings to customize your own bowl.

Football season is officially here 🏈 and if you’re hosting friends or family for game day, Pig Beach BBQ | Boston inside of PKL has game day BBQ and sides that will have everyone clearing their plates.

I recently tried Pig Beach BBQ’s takeout menu for Sunday football and it was such an easy way to host a few friends. We got the brisket, wings (hot honey & BBQ dry rubs, and pulled pork to make sandwiches. I love the brisket and wings - both are super flavorful and were def the fan favs.

This is the perfect option if you’re hosting a full watch party, having family over, or just want a lazy football Sunday!

Soup szn is officially here 🍜🥟 Dumpling Cafe has been one of my go-to spots for soup dumplings in Boston for years. Their soup dumplings are HUGE, packed with broth, and always hit the spot.

Their handmade pan-fried dumplings are also really good. I also love their Singapore rice noodles. This time we also tried the beef with long horn pepper (the perfect amount of spice) and the kung pao chicken.

Located right in Chinatown, they have everything from Taiwanese favorites to Sichuan dishes, so there’s always something new to try. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable! A classic Boston favorite.

Just discovered this Asian micro-bakery Oh-Yeh Bakery in Allston through social media and wow it is so good. I was immediately intrigued because they’re known for having not to sweet desserts - which is a big deal for Asians iykyk! Everything at Oh-Yeh Bakery is organic, made from scratch, and made with less sugar, which is exactly what I need in my life.

They do weekly drops with a rotating menu, so there’s always something new to try. This week I got the brown butter s’mores cookie, mango white chocolate macadamia nut cookie, ube butter mochi, and Swedish cinnamon bun.

Everything was delicious, but my favorites were definitely the ube butter mochi and brown butter s’mores cookie. If you’re a dessert lover but don’t want something overly sweet, this is your sign to check them out. Follow along for their weekly drops because these treats go fast!

Porto might be one of my favorite food cities I’ve visited. 🇵🇹 The city is so walkable, which made it easy to spend the day hopping from spot to spot and basically turn every day into a food tour.

It was my first time in Portugal, so I wanted a mix of viral places, local favorites, and traditional Portuguese food. Some spots were planned, but a lot of them were random walk-ins that ended up being some of our favorites.

Here’s everything we ate during our 3 days in Porto. If you’ve been, send me your recs for my next trip!

I just had one of my favorite dinners of the year at this farm-to-table spot in Cambridge Season To Taste. We decided to do the chef’s tasting counter because everything on the menu sounded so good. For $100 per person, we got a five-course tasting menu plus dessert, and you can add a w**e pairing for $60 more.

One of my favorite things about this experience is that the menu is always changing. Since everything is sourced locally, dishes are based on what’s freshest and in season, which makes every visit a little different.

Chef Robert walked us through every course. Our tasting included Black Bass Crudo, Bombette Skewer, Cornmeal Crusted Rock Shrimp, Blackened Mahi Mahi, and Crispy Cornish Hen. Every single dish was so thoughtfully prepared.

And the desserts were also 🔥 The Blueberry Crème Brûlée and Pound Cake were the perfect ending, and the fruit tasted so fresh.
