3 days until September, summer is almost gone!

I can feel it in the air already the past 2 weeks. Mornings are cool, afternoons still warm and cooler in the evenings. Unlike summer even in the middle of the night it's still very warm and doesn't cool down.

Summer strawberry cake is still holding on! Happy birthday to my bbf Nato, Brian and Keira! - August birthdays.

Made 4 loaves of artisan bread to go with the crabfest at my brother's house.

Summer weddings are in full swing.

Congratulations to my friend Terrie!! I'm so happy she and Buddy found each other and started the next chapter of their lives together.

I'm grateful and honored for the opportunity to make the desserts for the wedding and be there to witness the next chapter of her life.

Once again, I made some Swiss meringue buttercream with egg whites. What to do with all the egg yolks?

Made vanilla pastry cream this time instead of lemon curd with the yolks. Fruit tarts with vanilla pastry cream. Light, creamy and so yummy. 😋

One Piece themed cake.

I've been doing this little boy's birthday cake for a long time now. He's growing up fast and I didn't think he would want anymore of these cakes, but here we are. 😂
