Yall I swear I’ll never take advantage of my hens popping eggs out like crazy again. It’s SOOO HOT right now 🥵!! They’ve all but stopped laying. I’m out there 3 times a day making sure they’re good, have cold water and shade but they’ve just slowed down laying soo much! The FB algorithms tell me to post twice a day but that’s just not possible (with egg pics atleast ; ) so here’s a pic of some olives 🫒🥚 they laid 3 months ago lol 😭. This 🔥☀️🥵 needs to chill out!

Can’t wait for my dark line to start laying. Should be soon! It’s been hitting 115* here and they’re not laying much right it’s so hot but I’m hoping they pick back up in September. That should also be when my new darker BCM and BCOE hens should start laying

These are the guys I’m waiting to mature. They’re just starting to crow but not mating quite yet. Just got rid of the bulk majority of my 1-2 year old roosters to make room for these guys and it also gives my hens a break for a few months. I will have 4-5 extra roosters I’ll be getting rid of if anyone’s interested. I have a few more than what I’ll be needing. You can see what the majority of them look like in the last reel I posted of them eating watermelon.

Does anyone else have issues with getting lots of scammer messages on their farm pages??? It’s like the last few weeks I’ve been getting absolutely flooded with scammers reaching out. Everyone circled is a scammer using scammer lingo and all with less than 2 posts or friends shown on their page if yall want to block them (I already have). It gets old. Thankfully they all use the same lingo so it doesn’t take long to s***f them out, it just gets annoying 😑

Little miss murder mittens seriously keeps the rodent population down and doesn’t mess with the baby chicks at all. Recommend having a few if you have alot of chickens and you have a mouse/rat problem

Watermelon Day! 🍉 They were VERY happy!!! 🐓 Most of these guys are my new darker line BCM roosters that are coming of age. Can’t wait for this fall!!!!
